Valtrex (Valacyclovir)

Description

buy Valtrex

An antiviral, Valtrex is used to treat shingles (herpes zoster), cold sores (fever, blisters or herpes labialis), and genital herpes in patients with either a normal immune system or those with HIV. It works by suppressing replication of the virus, but does not eliminate the virus altogether. The risk of spreading the infection is decreased in patients with genital herpes and a normal immune system that are taking Valtrex, and practicing safe sex

Method of Use

buy Valtrex

It is recommended that Valtrex is taken orally, once a day, with or without food. If you get a stomach upset or stomach irritation, take Valtrex with food and ensure you drink additional fluids during use. If you are using Valtrex as a suppressive antiviral, it is advised that the drug is taken at the same time very day for maximum benefit. For cold sores, shingles or genital herpes, commence treatment as soon as symptoms occur. For a severe infection, always complete the full course of treatment.

If you miss a dose of Valtrex, take it as soon as you remember, unless this is close to your next scheduled dose. If it is, miss that dose and then return to your regular dosing schedule. Do not take 2 doses at once.

Storage

Valtrex is to be stored at 77°F (25°C), in its original container, away from heat, light and moisture. It must not be stored in the bathroom. Valtrex may be stored briefly at temperatures between 59°F and 86°F (15-30°C). The product must be kept out of the reach of children and pets at all times. Any medication that is out of date should be disposed of safely (any pharmacist will be able to advise you on disposal instructions).
